Electrica has its own in-house electronics and mechanical design team. Working from a dedicated development laboratory, we offer full design consultation and support to our customers, from concept development and rapid prototyping to production. Internal critical design reviews (CDRs) and new product introduction meetings (NPIs) ensure every project is delivered on time and quality is guaranteed.
Design Capabilities
Hardware Development
We have a sophisticated, state-of-the-art PCB / Schematic design facility. We can take your schematic or sketched line drawing and create a layout to your exact criteria.
Firmware Development (ARM / PIC)
Electrica’s design engineers can provide you with cutting-edge, maintainable, feature rich firmware. Our microcontrollers of choice are ARM and PIC, however, if you have another platform in mind, please let us know. We are also experienced in BareMetal, RTOS, and Embedded Linux.
Software Development (C#.net)
Electrica develops software using one of the world’s leading programming languages, C#.net. We also have an excellent track record in intuitive GUI (Graphic User Interface).
SolidWorks 3D Modelling
We have expertise in enclosure design for manufacturing using techniques such as injection moulding, bent metal, CNCing, and 3D printing. If you require a complex mechanical design with electronic control, Electrica can help using world-leading CAD packages such as SolidWorks.
